How To Add a PictureTo add pictures to a page, use the method shown in the box below. To add text rather than pictures, use the method shown in How to Edit a Page. There are two basic steps to follow. The first step is to "attach" the picture(s) to the page. The second step is to place the picture(s) on the page in the desired position(s). You have to register/log in before you can transfer pictures, using the menu item "Register" (if you have not registered yet) or the menu item "Log in" if you have previously registered. It is recommended that you re-size your pictures in an image editing software package before "attaching" them to a page. For a picture you plan to display across the whole width of a page, ensure that the image is no wider than 600 pixels; accordingly, for a picture you plan to display across half of the width of the page, make the picture no wider than 300 pixels. Use the re-sizing tool for fine size adjustments only. It is also suggested that you use thumbnail pictures (small pictures with a link to a larger picture on another page) if you wish to have lots of pictures on one page. If you use thumbnails, use a table to display them. Ensure that that the table is no wider than 610 pixels and make each thumbnail no wider than 145 pixels - giving you room for four columns in the table. Insert a table by pressing the icon on the bottom left of the toolbar and filling in the popup box that will be displayed, making sure that the table is no more than 615 pixels wide. (Note that your browser must allow popups for this to work, so if you get a warning message come up you should select the option to allow popups for this website only.) Table editing tools are displayed along the bottom row of the toolbar. If you wish to modify the options for a table already created, click on the table edge to highlight it and then right click on your mouse and select "Table Properties" to display the popup box. For instructions on how to create a new page to hold the large version of a thumbnail picture, see How To Create a Page. For instructions on how create a link from a thumbnail to the page holding the large version of a picture, see How To Create A Link. Step 1: Attaching the picture to the page - Re-size your picture(s) using your image editing software.

Once in position, click on the picture and adjust its size to fit the layout by dragging the little squares on the corners and sides of the picture. - Press "Save" and view the page.
